How to remove wallpaper

BEFORE STARTING
Remove all accessories on the wall.
Remove all accessories on the wall including power socket covers. Separate the parts into different groups and keep them using masking tape.
STEP1: Cut outlines of the wallpaper.
Cut outlines of the wallpaper.
Cut the outlines of the area on the wallpaper you want to remove. Try not to put too much pressure on the cutter.
Cut along the skirting boards.
If you are not removing skirting boards, cut just above it.
STEP2: Start removing the wallpaper.
Find a seam.
Find a wallpaper seam and slide in a cutter between the wallpaper and the wall.
Peel off the wallpaper.
Start peeling off. You can start wherever you think it is easy to cut. Remember to leave the thin layer of the wallpaper on the wall. You can keep going even if you tear the wallpaper.
Repeat.
Repeat the same process for the whole wall.
Remove wallpaper from the corners.
Do not forget the corners.Carefully remove it using a cutter.
If you remove too much.
If you remove too much wallpaper or the surface is too bumpy, apply some putty filler on the area, level and smooth the surface using a scraper.
If the thin layer is peeling off.
If the thin layer of the wallpaper is peeling off, remove the lifted area using a cutter.
Apply some putty filler, level and smooth the surface using a scraper.
