How to apply pre-pasted wallpaper
around wall columns
Hang wallpaper little by little onto each edge and side of a column.

STEP1: Hang wallpaper on the first side.
Hang wallpaper on the first side.
Start by hanging the wallpaper from the right inside edge and wrap it around the column firmly finishing on the left inside edge.
Line it on the right edge
next to the wall.
Line the end of the wallpaper directly on the right edge next to the wall and set it in position. Make sure to leave an extra 2cm on the top end of the wallpaper.
If wallpaper has a selvage.
If the wallpaper has a selvage, make sure the wallpaper has an extra 5cm on the right end.
Hang the top half of the wallpaper.
Once the position is set, hang the top half of the wallpaper on the first side.
Fit it on the right outside edge.
'Make a slit to enable it to fit on the right outside edge, bend the wallpaper and make it partially stick to the wall.
Hang the bottom half of wallpaper.
Repeat the same process with the bottom half of the wallpaper.
STEP2: Hang it on the other sides.
Hang it on the second side.
Once it's hung on the first side, push the wallpaper onto the right outside corner using a wet sponge. Plastic wallpaper gets softer and easier to bend when it's wet.Once it's hung on the first side, ensure the wallpaper sticks to the right outside corner using a wet sponge pushing down on the wallpaper.
Smooth out.
Hang the wallpaper onto the second side and smooth out the surface from the right outside edge to the left using a plastic smoother.
Make slits.
Make slits on the top and bottom ends of the wallpaper to enable it to fit into the edges and corners.
Apply pressure
to the left outside corner.
Apply pressure to the left outside corner using a wet sponge.
Hang it on the last side.
Hang the wallpaper on the last side smoothing out the surface from the left outside corner to the wall using a plastic smoother.
STEP3: Cut the ends.
Fit it into edges.
Push the wallpaper into the top and bottom edges and corners using a spatula.
Cut the ends.
Cut the ends of wallpaper using a steel smoother and a cutter.
Wipe off.
Wipe off the extra glue from your cuttings using a wet sponge.
